At Restore Ulladulla, contrast therapy involves alternating between our infrared sauna and cold plunge. It combines the best of both worlds, amplifying the benefits of each and giving you a more complete wellness experience. Many people feel a rush of endorphins, improved mental clarity, and a deep sese of well-being afterward.

Contrast therapy is generally safe for most people but if you have heart conditions, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, circulatory issues, or are pregnant, it’s best to check with health care provider before trying it. A typical contrast therapy session involves:
 
  • 10-20 minutes in the infrared sauna
  • 1-3 minutes in the cold plunge
  • Repeating the cycle 2-3 times
However, everyone’s tolerance is different, so you can adjust your session based on what feels best for you.
